Why We Do Not Accept Insurance?
Direct primary care (DPC) is a healthcare model that focuses on establishing a direct financial and personal relationship between patients and their primary care providers, eliminating the need for traditional insurance. For urgent and primary care practices, adopting the DPC model and foregoing insurance can provide several advantages, ensuring consistent and high-quality care.

What is fee for service primary care?
Fee-for-service primary care is a direct pay model where patients pay for services out-of-pocket instead of using insurance. This approach allows for more personalized and individualized care, as well as more flexible scheduling and shorter wait times.

Why would I choose a cash based fee for service option over an insurance-based service?
Some patients opt for cash-based services because they have high deductibles or out-of-network coverage through their insurance. Others appreciate the flexibility and control that come with directly paying for their own care. Many insurance office co-pays and deductibles are the same as our office visit fee.

Is a fee for service primary care only for patients without insurance?
No, patients with insurance can also choose to use cash-based primary care. At the time of the visit, you will complete documents indicating that you are paying for services directly and will not seek reimbursement from your insurance.

Are the prices for fee-for-service primary care services higher than those for insurance-based services?
Not necessarily. Often, the prices for cash-based primary care services are lower than those for insurance-based services, due to reduced administrative burden and overhead.

Can I still see a specialist if I use cash-based primary care?
